Temitope Runsewe is a business leader and a sought-after business speaker across the world. He is currently Managing Director of Dutum Company, a leading construction and engineering firm in Nigeria. He is also currently a CEO at StoneBricks Development, a real estate firm focused on providing affordable luxury residential and commercial accommodation.
Under his leadership, Dutum has completed very large iconic projects in Africa ranging from large housing estates, 3-star Hotels, large commercial buildings, Bridges, Airport Hangers, roads etc. Clients include the World Bank, Federal and State Government of Nigeria, Hotel Chains, Banks and Universities. As the Managing Director of Dutum, Temitope, who specializes in growing businesses and helping SMEs increase profitability, has been credited for his role in the growth and development of the company that has been the recipient of an award for outstanding indigenous construction company and grew turnover by 200% within 24 months in Nigeria for 2012 by the African Leadership Magazine.
Prior to returning to Nigeria, Temitope was an Associate within the Global Commodities Group in JP Morgan Chase, based in London. Temitope graduated with 1st class honors with a Bachelor of Science in Computing from Richmond, American International and also an MSc in Analysis, Design and Management on Information Systems from London School of Economics (LSE).
Temitope appeared consistently on Richmond University Dean’s list for 4 years and received the award for the most outstanding computer science-graduating senior in 2004. He has also attended several executive programs at Lagos Business School, Stanford Business School and Harvard Business School. Temitope is passionate about seeing the rise of SMEs in Africa because he sees this is an engine room of development of the continent. He is a strategist and consultant to several businesses and governments across Africa.
Temitope Oluwadamilola Runsewe hails from Ijebu Ode LGA of Ogun State, Nigeria and he is happily married to Oluwatoyin Runsewe and they are blessed with two children.
