Dr. Rugerinyange is the founder and Managing Director of Excel Security, the fastest-growing security company in Rwanda. He is an entrepreneur in the security industry and a member of the Rwanda Security industry Association and the Private Sector Federation with vast connections with Rwandan business, government, policy makers and the civil society.

He has over 20 years of working experience developing international businesses, project management, analytical, strategic leadership, policy development, and consulting. Dr. Rugerinyange has worked in public and private sectors, and academics. He has a breadth of experience initiating and delivering innovative large scale projects with high-impact.

He has a strong interest in the relationship between African culture and subjects such as development, leadership, business, and globalization effects on organizational effectiveness. He is passionate about using culture and behavior understanding in making insightful decisions, and reengineering operational efficiency and policies.

Dr. Rugerinyange is an experienced speaker, trainer and coach on technical subjects, personal development and leadership skills. He earned a DBA in Leadership and Culture from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, in the United Kingdom.

Rugerinyange believes many business potentials exist in Africa such that the continent could become a major force in the world economy if these opportunities are tapped. He believes that Africans, home and in Diaspora, can work in tandem to unlock Africa potentials through AFIDEP.
